Animal Rules
For the lists of what you can tame, or can not tame -- refer to the animals page.
- All animals must be tagged (Tag rules stated below)
- You may NEVER loan tags. The animals with your tag must be yours and you are responsible for keeping your tags in order.
- You may only Soul Ball/Un Soul Ball Animals in your tag.
- If someone messes with animals with soul balls not in their tag it is a rule break. If you find someone messing with animals that are not theirs please send staff a Ticket (It shows in the tribe logs -- we will confirm)
- If someone messes with animals with soul balls not in their tag it is a rule break. If you find someone messing with animals that are not theirs please send staff a Ticket (It shows in the tribe logs -- we will confirm)
- You must follow the taming rules at all times.
- Trackers/Tamers - Do not tame something you're not supposed to.
If you accidentally tame something with immersive taming you must kill it immediately.
- Trackers/Tamers - Do not tame something you're not supposed to.
- Animals with Torpor affects should never be used in PvP (Example: Snakes, Horse kicking, Ovis Head butt, etc.. View PvP Rules for more information)
If you are involved with any PvP or conflict situation at all, you may not deploy animals from soul balls anywhere except for your place of residence. You may only use "pocket" animals when there is no chance of PvP or conflict, example: Pocket Donkey when out getting metal.
If you even see a PvP/conflict situation happen, or hear that one may happen near you, you are subject to this rule.
After the situation has ended, or you have removed yourself from the situation, you must follow this rule for one additional (1) hour.
- Examples of 'chances' for PvP/conflict: Law work, banditry, etc
- Examples of 'seeing/hearing' a situation:
- Bob tells you that your bank is going to be robbed soon. This is a clear example, anyone not part of the town cannot use soul balls outside of their homestead/town for 1 hour after they either leave or the robbery is over.
- You are held up in a robbery. You may not use soul balls (outside your homestead/town) until an hour has passed after the robbery and any resulting conflict has concluded

Tag Rules For Animals
Personal Tagging
- Follow Tag Rules for your Class. (Additional Soul balls can be crafted in your pocket to prevent going over in tags)
- Remember Some Sub-Jobs add Tags to your normal amount, not all jobs add tags, so be aware of how many you have
- All animals must be tagged at all times.
This includes breeders, sell animals, babies, and any other animal you may own.- Remember to tag all of your animals the same way.
Examples: Damien [Avery], Damien [Avery C.], Damien [AC], Damien - Avery.
Any format works, just make sure it's unique to you (within your tribe) and the same across all animals (In other words all of your animals should be [AC] and not [Avery] and [AC]) - Breeding? Tag your animals. --If you know you're keeping a baby, name/tag it then and there, we do not want to find Juveniles/Adolescents unnamed in your barns.
- Baby animals do not count towards your tag limit (but MUST have a tag).
- Once they are adults, and you have logged on, they will begin to count. (But if you're not logged on when they grow up they do not count until you log in and you have to be sure you're within tags before you log off)

- Remember to tag all of your animals the same way.
- You may only soul ball personal tags.
- If it's not tagged to you do not ball it or unball it, only the owner of the animal should be messing with the animal.
- The only time you may unball an animal not tagged to you, is in the event of someone having left the tribe and they left it behind not wanting it
- The only time you may unball an animal not tagged to you, is in the event of someone having left the tribe and they left it behind not wanting it
- If it's not tagged to you do not ball it or unball it, only the owner of the animal should be messing with the animal.
Settlement Tagging
- Whether a Homestead, Hamlet, Village, or a Kingdom, extra tags can be purchased. It is a License that allows extra tags. -- All animals who use the Settlement tag must be spayed/neutered.
- A Settlement's tag must include the Settlements' name in some form.
Examples: Saddlebags [CC], Saddlebags [Copper Cove]
- Settlement tags in any form should never be stored within a soul ball.
The only exception to this is putting the animal in a soul ball for one (1) minute with the intention, and action, of throwing it out immediately afterwards (This is to allow admins to recover the creature should ARK do a dumb).
