Kingdom Positions - Remember, these are suggestions
These are not required to be used, these are simply suggestions/ideas from the admin team to help Kingdoms in understanding rank systems. Each kingdom can be done differently, it is up to the Leader(s) to decide.
Settlements can title their leaders this way, but would not have full recognition as a King/Queen etc.
Settlements can title their leaders this way, but would not have full recognition as a King/Queen etc.
- King / Queen : The King/Queen are the ruler(s) over an entire Kingdom. The filling of one of these rolls is required for a Kingdom to exist. They have full power over the laws of their specific Kingdom and may make arrests / try people in court with no restrictions.
- Bondeds : A bonded / dragon are not required to be attached to any Kingdom. The dragon and bonded are allowed to make arrests, enforce laws (in Kingdoms where they have permission to do so), They also work through the Order of the Bonded's system. Kingdoms do not have to recognize a Dragon or their Bonded as part of their court if they do not wish to.
(Bondeds and Dragons do not have to live at the Order of the Bonded facility and may be apart of kingdoms however, and when they are, they are often still viewed as those to uphold justice through the Order.) - Baron / Baroness : A Baron/Baroness is the ruler of an Out Post within a kingdom. They are required to have a Baron/Baroness at all times, and they have full power over the laws of their specific Out Post. Barons/Baronesses may make arrests within their Kingdom, may arrest people who have broken laws in their kingdom, and can try people in court with slight restrictions. Most matters would typically be taken to the King/Queen of the kingdom if severe.
- Constable : A constable is a position that can be appointed by a King, Queen, Baron, or Baroness. Constables are responsible for managing the courts for their ruler, and may try people in court with no restrictions. Kingdoms are limited to one (1) constables per Out post.
- Man at Arms : Someone appointed by a King/Queen in charge of training troops, keeping records of weaponry and over all supplies.
Specific titles may be changed by Kingdom rulers, depending on the RP.
Example: A King could be called a Duke in a specific Kingdom, but would still be the "Ruler" of the kingdom.
